Very excited for my friend Linda McMahon! She has a heart for kids and is a proven executive. I know she's ready to go to work to expand education freedom, restore Title IX and protect women, fix the mess on college campuses, return power to states and families, and, most importantly, PUT STUDENTS FIRST!

Betsy.shut up.
I thought that we had successfully gotten rid of you four years ago. Please go away now.
I just hope Trump allows McMahon to do her job of eradicating the Federal Teacher's Union, I mean Federal Dept. of Education, instead of leaving her out to dry like he did DeVoss.

They are not anymore, I found a news letter from my school in the 70's to the parents, can't post it, but the difference is astounding
Amen
The Department of Education = The Teacher's Union. The Teacher's Union = Indoctrination. Government control of education is bad for our kids. Put it back in the hands of the parents. School choice = better and more efficient education.

30 schools in the chicago area. No one can read at their grade level. Help us in Illinois. The teachers union focuses on robbing the tax payer and not on education
Amy Wax: "Abolishing the Department of Education, which sounds good, is just another example of trying to use procedural measures to deal with a substantive problem. And I feel the same way about school choice and charter schools; all that stuff as great, but you have to recognize 95% of our students go to public schools so unless you go inside the public schools and make changes, nothing will happen. What about the Department of Education? The aspiration of shrinking the government by consolidating and closing down that in itself is a good thing but what you really have to look inside and ask yourself, “What are they doing? What are their programs? What are their functions? How are they promoting all this bad stuff, all the racialization and “equity” focus that's undermining learning and meritocracy. The broader questions that the Trump people need to ask the government as a whole. There are so many myriad areas where the government is prioritizing this stuff in every way, every day, and what programs are the Department of Education administering, and what are the sources of the program? Some of them are mandated in law. Pell Grants, low income grants, which are out of control and are going to all sorts of higher ed establishments and even graduate schools that are using race based decision making. That's an area where Congress can make sure it's not going to the wrong places that are engaged in the wrong policies. Title 1 money, K through 12 for low income schools, is a very powerful lever for telling schools you don't get any of that Title 1 money unless you clean up your act in all sorts of different ways. I would rather look inside the box and see what they're doing now. You could close the department and farm some of this stuff out or some of it could just be abolished altogether but you have to go case by case to see where it's coming from. If it's coming from Congress, then you know you have to try and minimize its its evil impact. If it's coming from the Executive branch and regulation, it's a lot easier to to shrink it or even get rid of it." www.youtube.com/watch?v=JZ5F4Sl0VzQ

A well-deserved victory tonight for the Lady Wolf Pack volleyball team!
These ladies are also winning on the issue of PROTECTING women’s sports.
This is a matter of safety, fairness, and privacy.
I hope all of Nevada and America join in standing with these brave young women.
Sadly, we know her answer. The Biden-Harris #TitleIX regulation answers it quite clearly.
I can’t even believe we're even debating whether biological men, identifying as women, should be allowed to compete in women's sports!
What happened to the country I love—a nation that was always rooted in fairness?
